DAF Dissolved Air Flotation Machine

Air flotation working and system principles:

Air flotation separation is to mix air and water under certain pressure and conditions, so that the gas can be dissolved into the water to the maximum extent, striving to be in a saturated state, and then the pressure-dissolved water formed can be released through a special device to rapidly produce a large amount of gas. The micro bubbles are in full contact with the floating matter in the water (flocculation after dosing).

Under the action of "net catching", "wrapping" and "bridging" of the purple particles, the bubbles and the floating matter form a stable The density of the air-entrained floc is smaller than that of water, so the air-entrained floc quickly rises to the water surface, and the floating matter condenses into scum on the liquid surface. The scum is scraped and removed to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation.

Product Introduction

The effect of solid-liquid separation mainly depends on the following three aspects:

•What is the characteristic of floc formed after adding medicine to the floating matter in the water body? Is it hydrophilic or hydrophobic (appropriate dosing).

•During the mixing reaction, ensure that there are enough micro bubbles in time and full contact with the flocs.

•During the separation reaction, the solid, gas, and liquid mixture should have an appropriate residence time and a stable flow pattern to allow the "air-entrained floc" to float to the liquid surface and form scum. Controlling the flow state of liquid is one of the keys to the separation effect.

For more than 30 years, the air flotation process has been widely used and recognized. At present, the application field of dissolved air flotation has been expanded from the initial industrial wastewater pretreatment to municipal, seawater desalination and other fields.
